Susan Markenstein, Esq.

Susan Markenstein brings to each case leadership, confidence, insight and knowledge.  She has been litigating cases for many years, thinking outside the box on each and putting the client first. Ms. Markenstein appears regularly in the law and chancery divisions of the Superior Court. Ms. Markenstein also practices at the appellate level. She services the senior community, assisting them with their unique concerns and needs, including the drafting of wills, powers-of-attorney and advance healthcare directives; prepares and files Medicaid applications and provides representation in adult guardianship matters. Ms. Markenstein also provides representation in the area of estate administration and probate matters.

Appellate Argument & Brief Writing Awards

Ms. Markenstein graduated from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark in 2003 where she received awards for appellate argument and brief writing and was a member of the moot court board.  Immediately following graduation, Ms. Markenstein served one year as law clerk to the Hon. Wendel E. Daniels, J.S.C. in the criminal part, Ocean County.  Ms. Markenstein graduated summa cum laude from St. Peter’s University in 1997 with a B.S in psychology and a minor in economics.
